ABOUT THE FLY TIER

I was born in the Pacific Northwest into a large, close-knit family of wiseasses. My Uncle David (who bears a remarkable semblance to my friend Cooper, the purveyor of this site) started me fishing at five or six, and I became a fly tyer after seeing an Orvis catalog at the neighbors around the age of nine. I spent more time fishing than studying in college, and have paid for it ever since by pursuing a career in art.
